EN ATTENTE

The video installation En attente is composed by a screen where is diffused a video of a landscape where are aligned six chairs. A red phone is under one chair and a character waits on another chair. In front of the screen, six chairs are aligned like on the video and six red phones are under each chair. When spectators sit on a chair to watch the screen, the character gets up and changes place. He repeats that each time a spectator comes in or changes place. If the character sits down on a chair with the red phone, he calls one of the six phone in a diffusion area. If a spectator picks up this phone, he communicates with the character. This project studies the audience's rules in a diffusion place. The character reacts when the audience plays their rule, seat on a chair in front of the screen.
