Antonin Jousse est artiste visuel, chercheur et professeur d’enseignement artistique à l’école supérieure d’art de Lorraine.
Sa pratique engage différents outils numériques dans la fabrication d’images fixes, animées ou interactives présentées sous formes d’installations — parfois hybrides. Il y étudie les différentes manières dont les outils numériques traduisent, relisent, modifient les représentations du monde et les effets cognitifs, sociaux et politiques engendrés. Son travail se concentre notamment sur la perception des cultures, des territoires et des populations. Ces projets utilisent des techniques de photogrammétrie, de 3D, d’IA génératives ou encore de récupération de données.
Il est également co-fondateur de la structure de résidence d’artistes La ligne ouverte et titulaire d’une thèse de doctorat en esthétique de l’art portant sur l’évolution des formes d’interactivités dans la pratique des artistes numériques des années 2010.

Antonin Jousse is a visual artist, researcher and art teacher at the école supérieure d’art de Lorraine.
His practice involves various digital tools in the production of static, animated or interactive images presented in the form of installations - often hybrids. He studies the different ways in which digital tools translate, reinterpret and modify representations of the world, and the resulting cognitive, social and political effects. His work focuses in particular on the perception of cultures, territories and populations. These projects use photogrammetry, 3D, generative AI and data retrieval techniques.
He is also co-founder of the artist residency structure La ligne ouverte, and holds a doctoral thesis in art aesthetics on the evolution of forms of interactivity in the practice of digital artists in the 2010s.
